Why I Call Myself an AI Loyalist

After 2+ years going deep on AI, I've picked a side. Here's why individual empowerment through AI matters more than corporate control.

aiphilosophy

Most people in tech hedge their bets. They’ll praise AI in one breath and warn about it in the next, carefully positioning themselves as “balanced thinkers.”

I don’t do that.

After spending 80+ hours a week for over 2 years building with AI, I’ve arrived at a simple conviction: AI should empower individuals, not just corporations.

What “AI Loyalist” means

It means I believe AI is the most important technology shift of our lifetime. More important than mobile. More important than the internet itself.

It means I think the real danger isn’t AI getting too powerful. It’s powerful AI being locked behind corporate walls while individuals get watered-down versions.

It means I build in the open, share what I learn, and push for tools that give regular people superpowers.

The practical side

At 10Clouds, we’ve shifted our entire 150+ person agency toward AI-powered digital products. I built AIConsole as an open-source tool because I believe the best AI tools should be accessible to everyone.

What I’m building toward

A world where a solo founder with AI has the same capabilities as a 50-person team. Where a teacher can create personalized learning for every student. Where a doctor can process research at superhuman speed.

We’re closer than most people think. And I’d rather be building that future than hedging my bets from the sidelines.
